Offered for sale in this auction is a 1981 BMW R100RT in GOOD CONDITION. The bike is green with original paint and pinstripes on the seat cowl, side panels and tank. The fairing and front fender are a repainted green match, with no fade accents, and the pinstripes are adhesive backed. The bike has 43,600 miles, and runs very well. Just serviced and tuned, including complete carb rebuild with diaphragms replaced. Includes: New parabellum windscreen BMW saddlebags and Chrome bag rack Back rest with Chrome Parcel rack Original tool kit, owners manual, bmw lock, tire pump, and keys for lock and bags. Tool compartment has original cover. Bmw 4 way flasher system. Extra Flashing Brake light system The seat not torn, and is in very good condition Everything works as it should. There are a couple of small dings in the tank near the seat (see photo). Both sides of the tank have shallow dents from tip over incidents, where the inside of the fairing contacted the tank (see photo), very common. The bike shows signs of wear and tear typical for a bike of this age. The tires are in fair condition, and will need to be replaced in the near future.
