Thinning out my projects. I hate to sell this 'cause I'll never own another one but I have to be realistic. I'm getting older, I have too many, & there's only so much time. For sale....1959 Ford Ranchero Rat Rod / Gasser ? project. I purchased this from an elderly gentleman 5 years ago. It ran Awesome and drove Very Well. It got attention everywhere I took it. Well, the old fellow passed away, and took the knowledge of the car with him. At the present time, the only way it will start is to jump the solenoid, and run a hot to the coil. He has a switch under the dash that has apparently quit functioning. I haven't had time to trace wires. It has a newer 390 engine in it backed up by a 3 speed trans with a floor shifter, and ran Great. It has dual exhaust with no mufflers, and sounds SO COOL-not nearly as loud as you might think. The Old Girl (being over 50 years old) has its issues. The Old Fellow brought it up from the South, but it does have its share of rust. The frame and floors look surprisingly well. However, the rockers are BAD, and the quarters definately have filler in them. I had plans to use it for a shop truck, but now don't have the time to go through it. YES, it's rough, BUT definately a buildable rare ride. OR get the electrics working right, and drive it as it is. I AM NOT TRYING TO CANDY COAT the present condition. >>> I have quite a few parts that I bought to re-do it that will be avaliable for sale to the buyer should they choose to purchase them. They include both front fenders(Very Good), both inner fenders(Very Good), air tubes(Very Good), Radiator saddle(Very Good), Grille, 2-dr Post sedan doors(Very Good), both rear quarters from a 2-dr post sedan with inner and outer wheelhousings intact(Very Good), and quite a few other parts and pieces.(All of the avaliable spare sheetmetal came from a 1959 Ford 2-door Post Sedan that I bought in Texas just for this project.) <<>>>>>>>PLEASE ask questions BEFORE You bid.
