This is your opportunity to own and enjoy an exceptional ''63 Cadillac Convertible. This 1963 Cadillac Deville Convertible features a ground-up restoration. Restored approximately 5 years ago, this car runs, drives, and shows exceptionally well today. The 1963 Cadillacs showroom floor cost rose slightly from the previous year, still giving customers an excellent value. Standard equipment included the Hydra-matic transmission, power steering, self-adjusting power brakes, a heater, back-up lights, and a remote operated driver's side mirror. This dry climate example features original sheetmetal throughout. The doors, hood, and trunk lid align correctly. The interior was restored in white & green. The upholstery is very clean and detailed throughout. Enjoy the video clip above The white power top operates correctly and is in very good condition, as is the original tinted glass. Cadillac's trademark fins were shrinking, but only noticable when compared to previous years. The prominent tail fins were still a Cadillac calling card. The 1963 model year is no different. The dash is beautifully detailed, featuring all of the original instruments, as well as the factory radio. The dash is smooth and clean throughout. The two-tone green & white leather is complimented by white piping and a white convertible top boot. This car has spent the majority of its life in the Dallas, Texas metroplex. This is a dry climate example. The factory AM/FM radio & clock are in place. The exterior's brightwork is clean and detailed throughout. The chrome shows well front to back. Cadillac's V8 engine received its first major revisions in 14 years for 1963. The 390 cubic inch V8 featured numerous upgrades for dependabiliy. This is a turn-key example that runs and drives well. Changes to the engine included a lighter, strong crankshaft, and the ancillaries were relocated for easier service. This revised 6.4 Liter engine was much smoother. The engine compartment features a clean and detailed firewall, inner fenders, and core support. This Cadillac is proudly on display in our Dallas, Texas showroom.
