Up for auction is a 1989 BMW 735IL that was just donated to a charitable foundation and is being sold with NO RESERVE.
The vehicle is equipped with a 6cyl engine and automatic transmission. The odometer shows 166,844 miles. The Seats are BLACK leather and showing signs of wear with some cracking (see photos). The glove box does not stay closed, the stereo has been removed and some of the surrounding plastic is loose. The passenger front window switch sticks slightly, so you have to play with it a little to get the window to work. The body is in fair condition, with a minor scrape/dent on the passenger rear door (see photos). The exterior of the car is Black and showing signs of wear. It’s fading slightly and has a few scratches but over all looks ok. A good polish and detail will help a great deal. The fan vents appear to work, but the AC is not cold and will likely need a re-charge. The tires appear to be ok, with maybe 25% road life left.

When the BMW arrived to us, the battery was dead, but started quickly with a jump start and ran fairly well with a good idle. It shifted through all the gears and stopped normally. We had it idling for nearly a half hour and noticed the water temp went just above the half way point. The oil looks good as well. The donor indicated that the radiator has a leak, and we noticed there’s a minor drip towards the filler area. So it sounds like it will need a radiator repair or replacement. There may be other problems with the vehicle that are not evident. Therefore, please bid accordingly! The car has not been formally inspected by a mechanic. As is the case with all donated vehicles we do not perform a detailed mechanical or physical inspection. We simply convey what we are able to observe.
- This vehicle comes with a Clear California Title and the donor indicated to us, they have the vehicle filed NON-Operational. Tags show 4/2008.

This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity.
INFORMATION CONCERNING VEHICLE TITLE:
If this vehicle has a California Application for Duplicate Title, which means there is no title in our possession and one must be applied for. (In some cases people that donate their vehicles may have misplaced their title and could not locate it. In this situation the California DMV requires tthe registered owner to fill our a California Application for Duplicate Title Form, which will replace the oringal misplaced title and can be used to transfer ownership as well.– if you are bidding from out of State or outside the U.S. Please be aware that you may need to first title/register in California in order to title or export to your state/country of residence. This Paperwork is transferable through the CA DMV.
For vehicles sold to California Residents, you will be requried to pay the sales tax on the winning bid amount in your county of residents to the DMV at time of registering the vehicle. You will also be required to pay the registration transfer fees and any back due registration fees what ever they may be. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONTACT US AND OBTAIN THE LICENSE PLATE NUMBER ALONG WITH THE VIN OF THE VEHICLE YOU ARE BIDDING ON, SO YOU CAN CALL THE DMV AND GET THE EXACT AMOUNT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY IF YOU WIN THE VEHICLE. THERE IS A $50.00 ADMINISTRATION FEE THAT WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL PRICE FOR ALL VEHICLES. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITHIN THREE DAYS OF THE END OF AUCTION.

INFORMATION CONCERNING PICK-UP OF VEHICLE:
Pickup must occur within THREE (3) days of the end of the auction, unless other arrangements are made with us. There will be a storage fee of $20.00 per day for any vehicle left on our premises after this time.
The winning bidder is responsible for picking the vehicle up at the Just Donated Inc. storage yard in the city of Orange, CA (off the 57 Freeway). The Address is 551 N Batavia St. Yard “F” Orange, Ca 92868.
