Vehicle Detail
I purchased this car when I was 18 years old in 1985. In 1991, I drove her into a barn and parked her for the next 19 years. It hasn't been started since. This car is exactly like the car that Burt Reynolds drove in Smokey and the Bandit. Its first owner purchased it at Don Medow Pontiac, Inc. in South Bend, Indiana. I have the Pontiac Historical Society's documentation on the car which says that it is a Y82 Special Edition. I have the original Owner's Manual and Shop Manual as well as all the original pamphlets that came at the time of original purchase. This car is in need of frame-off restoration. It does not have the original wheels, transmission, or driver's seat. It is missing its radio. The motor will turn over. It's features include the following: Hurst T-Tops Pontiac 400 Z Motor with matching numbers
