Up for sale is my rare 1955 packard Super Clipper. This car was stored in a garage for over 30 years. The car has 14,500 documented original miles. All tags from it's regular services are still on the door pillars. This Packard has the 320 C.I. engine producing 225 HP. It has the 3speed Ultramatic automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission work flawlessly. The car is equipped with power brakes, but does not have power steering. (Unfortunately) It is also equipped with the famous "torsion level suspension" system which gave these Packards their renowned smooth ride. The complete brake system has been replaced as has been the exhaust system. The beautiful interior is all original except for the carpets which were replaced due to their musty smell. All guages work as do the original AM radio and clock.The clock keeps time within a minute a month. All the chrome on the car is in good condition although the bumpers could use replating. I still have all the original wide whitewall Firestone tires which came with the car. I have many extra parts for the car also. The car was painted in 2008 with the original Dupont paint colors which Packard used. This car truly needs to be seen to be appreciated. This probably one of the cleanest and lowest mileage Packards around. I'm sure there will be many questions about this car and I will be glad to answer them all.
