Up for auction is a 1993 Toyota Camry V6 LE that was just donated to a charitable foundation and is being sold with NO RESERVE.
The vehicle is equipped with a 6cyl engine and automatic transmission. The odometer shows 157,884 miles. The Seats are Tan leather and appear to be in decent condition, although the driver’s seat is showing some wear. The dash is in nice condition with no cracks, and all the door panels seem decent, although a good detail will make a big difference. The tops of the back seats are showing signs of sun wear and are starting to crack. The exterior of the car is Gold and the paint still looks pretty nice, although it’s starting to show some signs of wear. There are some minor dings and scratches, but over all looks good. The tires appear to be fairly new, with little wear.

The donor who donated the vehicle indicated that there was some sort of mechanical problem, which caused it to run rough and blow smoke. When we received the car we needed to jump start it, and once we were able to disarm the alarm, it started right up and appeared to idle well, but after a few minutes it started idling rough and then it started smoking. The car went into gear with no problem and was driven around our yard without incident, but due to the smoking and rough idle we did not do any further testing on it. While parked we observed an oil leak coming from the back side of the motor, but could not pinpoint where exactly it was coming from. The oil on the dip stick appears normal, but the oil cap appears to have condensation. Since the smoke is White, it appears to have a blown head gasket and will possibly need a valve job. Apparently this is a common problem with these engines. As is the case with all donated vehicles we do not perform a detailed mechanical or physical inspection. We simply convey what we are able to observe. There may be other problems with the vehicle that are not evident. Therefore, please bid accordingly
