I have records to prove this car has been owned since 1968 by the same person who is selling the vehicle. The body of the car has some rust in the usual places and the paint is faded. It looks like if the car had been painted about 15 years ago.. maybe more. I have been driving the car up and down I-95 and this vehicle runs great. Engine starts without any problems, gears switch smoothly. Brakes work fine and power steering works good as well. According to the records, the car had its 4 tires replaced, balanced and aligned, not too long ago. Based on the way the tires look, they have a 75% tread left. This car is a daily driver that is in need of some body work and a great paint job to recuperate its brand spanking new look. If you are planning to drive the car back to your home, wherever it is, just bring your gas card and a GPS. Some interesting history about this Mustang: This vehicle was purchases brand new by its current owner as her own 40-Year-Old present. Back in 1979 her owner drove the vehicle all the way from Maryland to South Florida when she decided to settle in the Sunshine State. Now at the age of 81, Elizabeth decided it is time for her baby to leave. That is the reason why, after 41 uninterrupted years of ownership, she is letting her Gold Mustang go. The car comes with service records since the 80's all the way to a few months ago. This vehicle also has its original Owner's manual and its original Warranty Card, given to Elizabeth back in August 22 1968 in the state of Maryland.
