Crazy old drag car from Texas and still in it's original orange-red paint. 1973 AMC Gremlin X with a 401 cubic inch engine. The car has been off the road for many years but has a clear title and a pretty nice body. It's for some reason had the wheel arch replaced on the drivers front fender but it looks like a nice job. Needs repainted. The drivers door has been pryed open at some point and has some damage that is definitely fixable. The car does not appear to have any rust through and has no accident damage. The 401 is disassembled inside the car and has a set of new headers and a new comp cam in the box with the car. I don't have a transmission but it had an automatic. It's got ladder bars and big tires on aluminum slot wheels. Pretty cool old car and probably completely terrifiying to drive. I can't imagine a 400 HP Gremlin....wait...yes I can. It seems like a good idea. The car does have a complete and nice grill too. It's inside the car and not installed obviously. Because it's an old drag car, the only interior is a drivers seat. It does not have a roll cage.On Jun-21-10 at 21:53:57 PDT, seller added the following information: The underneath of this car including floors, frame, rockers, and quarters appear to be SUPER clean and dry. Kinda weird to see a Gremlin not all rotted out. Lots of questions about the interior. I'll add pix whenever it stops freaking raining. There basically is a complete dash and drivers seat and not much else. The original grill is really nice and inside the car. I'll add pix of it too.On Jun-22-10 at 10:23:57 PDT, seller added the following information: the floors, shock towers, frame, and all of the underneat and absolulely clean and rust free (other than light surface rust). The bottom of this car is the best part. The dash is missing the center climate control gauges and a piece over the top of the glove box. Everything else is there and right.
