A SUPER restoration project for the summer! I have had this 1958 Buick for about 10 years.. most of that time in a garage- but now a move to Europe has made keeping this car and restoring it not a very logical option.. and so with some sadness I am putting it up for sale. It should make someone a very 'Special' car when it's all done! AND it comes with a 1958 Buick Limited Sedan parts car FULL of tons of usable parts! The Good: - CLEAR TITLE in my name! - VERY complete - Most of the chrome/stainless is in fantastic shape -VERY little rust and ORIGINAL PAINT so no hidden surprises. The only rust is two spots on the outer body (one on a door and the other on a lower front fender.. as seen in the pictures) The only other rust is in the driver side floor panel. Very solid car. - An entire parts car with millions of spare parts from bumpers to doors to hubcaps! - A good-running 1961 Buick LeSabre 364 CI V8 engine purchased from All American Classics in Washington. Needs to be hooked up but is sitting in the car. Comes with the original transmission.. condition unknown but shifts. -All good glass except windshield has a crack. I think the parts car has a good windshield though. The 'Needs work' - Not running and will need a full restoration on the mechanical and electrical to get it to do so. It has been off the road for many years and while the mileage is believed to be very low, it needs a full mechanical restoration. - Interior needs redoing. All complete and comes with a reproduction carpet to be installed but the headliner needs replacing as do the seats and door panels in order to make it look like it should. Interior is complete though and still installed in the car. - Exterior is really quite straight for the age and being completely untouched but has some minor dents/surface paint chips. Also needs a new grill and the front bumper needs replacing but comes with extra bumpers for that. This is a definate project car- but is entirely ORIGINAL and complete with everything you would need to bring it back to life. The factory colors are great and scream 1950's and the car should make someone a fantastic project in the future! Email me with any questions!
