Vehicle Detail

For auction is my 1967 Ford Mustang fastback an original California A code, with no rust or issues. It is the original motor and gearbox, and the original Moss green color with a repaint a couple of years back. The brakes have been upgraded to to disc just this last year, and the suspension has been completely redone, with news springs, shocks, sway bars and traction master bars. The wheels are Vintage Wheels - 17X8 up front and 17X9 in rear, with all new BF Goodrich tires. The mustang needs a new interior, as the last owner recovered in a light gray cloth "to stay cooler". Its presentable but a new standard interior is just about $600 complete and easily done by the home mechanic. The car runs and drives excellent. My plan was to continue a restomod adding an upgraded 5 spd and interior to finish. This car was originally sold by Warren Ford in Riverside, CA. I have original black plates for this car, and personal California plates (UCA 6T7) that are valuable and included in the auction. I have the Marti report and some additional parts that I never installed. I had purchased this car as a project for my son and I to complete, but other expenses dont allow for me to finish it. It took me years to find this original, unmolested California rust free car so I am sad to see it go. If you have any questions please email me. This is a no reserve auction as I must sell it. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. On Jun-13-10 at 16:01:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I have posted a picture of the deluxe Marti Report which is included in the auction. One correction from above is I stated car was sold to Warren Ford, it is in fact Warren Anderson Ford in Riverside CA. One of 1840 cars with this engine and transmission. Built in San Jose for the Los Angeles DSO. I also have received many questions about the extra parts. They include an aluminum radiator that cost $400, all new hoses with correct Ford script and a correct fan shroud for this year Mustang. I just never got around to installing it. Driver's side rocker trim which is not pictured and several books and information on how to work on these classic Mustangs is also included in the "extra parts" category. I have also received many questions as to my Buy it Now price. That is any offer at or above $26,000. I will create a Buy It Now offer and end the auction. This car was purchased all in for $18,000 and we have put more than $10,000 in work into it so it looks and drives as well as it does now. New interior, and perhaps some new bumpers and this would be considered a show type car. Thanks again for looking.
