This auction is for a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport. It has a V6 3.7 liter engine with an extended cab. I've owned this vehicle for almost a year, and it has been nothing but a very reliable vehicle. Everything runs great and strong and has never given any problems. I purchased the truck used from an auction in Kentucky and drove it back to Tennessee. On February 22, 2010 I was rear-ended at a dead stop which caused the rear bumper and tailgate to be dented inward in the middle. The bed flexed forward during impact and hit the left and right corner of the cab which caused a paint chip/rust spot on either side, and a crack in the cab weld. It caused NO problems with the frame or bed position and can all be fixed fairly easily. The tailgate still closes and the liscense plate is still visable if riding with the tailgate down (you cant hardly tell there was an accident with the gate down). Other than that, there is no damage to the vehicle. The right front wheel has some noise in it (possibly a wheel bearing, ball joint?) when you turn to the right at high speeds but it's had it since I bought it and has never caused any issues. Exterior-The paint is white with no major scratches or dings.The windows are all tinted, and have no cracks or dings.It has rear aftermarket "Euro" tail lights.It has a new set of tires on it with only about 2000 miles wear on them. Interior- The interior is very clean,with black being the main color and grey seats.It is in perfect shape,except a few minor burn holes on drivers door.AM/FM radio, stock cassette player.Manual Windows and locks. Engine-Has 86576 milesHas new belts.Has had regular oil changes.Runs great, no problems, leaks, etc.Overall this is a great truck for anyone that is willing to fix the minor rear issues or who doesn't mind a dent and should run strong for many more years.
