This auction is for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V6. I have had this vehicle since November 2008. It was purchased from my step-father, whom of which owned the vehicle for a few years. It has been very well taken care of, which will be seen after inspection. I'm only selling it because my wife and I are moving our business from Tennessee to California, and are selling 2 of our 3 vehicles to help make the move easier. This is my first Jeep owned, but I have been very pleased with its performance and plan to purchase a newer model after moving. Exterior The paint is a metallic navy blue, full of shine, with NO DENTS, NO RUST, and has only 2 or 3 VERY MINOR hair-thin scratches throughout the body. It is in near perfect condition. The under-body is gray with no scratches or imperfections. The windows are all tinted (on inside), (and have my business logo in pic, which have been removed after auction was listed. They have no cracks or chips. Has a storage rack on roof. Has a rear tow hitch which includes built in lock and key. Has sunroof with closable visor. Has rain guard on all 4 windows. Has fog lights, but one of the bulbs need to be replaced. Has front bumper plate mount. Interior All door panels, trim, dash, etc. are light gray, gray, and black. All pieces are in PERFECT condition with the exception of one 1" crack that just started on the driver's door panel arm rest. The rear cargo area cover is included, but is missing the piece which allows it to catch itself when stretched out. Has all leather seats which are gray and in NEAR PERFECT condition. They have no tears, scratches, fading, or any imperfections other than 2 small cracks on the underside of the driver's seat which is not able to be seen unless nearly looking under the seat. Has stock floor mats which have no tears, but normal shoe stains (though minor). All electronics and switches work perfectly. Comes with factory sound system, which is an Infinity system with an amp. Actually sounds great. It has the factor radio/cassette player (I have a cd player in picture, but will remove after auction). Has multi cd changer, but it does not work (a manufacturer issue on all same models). Engine Engine is a 4.0 V6 with 200,100 miles. Sounds like alot of miles, but its all traveling, highway miles. I average between 600-1,500 miles per week with my business. Runs great and runs strong with no pings or unnatural sounds. Has never died during transit, over-heated, or been ran out of gas. Has had routine oil changes. Has never had any problems, leaks, etc. All other components work perfectly with no leaks, etc. It has a brand new radiator (less than 25 miles) and hoses. The factory radiator recently started leaking so it was replaced (have receipt). Has brand new battery (less than 10 miles). Drivetrain Has Uniroyal Laredo tires with 65-75% tread left. Driver's side tires also have new valve stems. The transmission runs great and shifts smooth. Transmission was flushed at 165,000 miles. Has had a small leak in a seal which will be replaced before end of auction. Doesn't hardly affect it at all, just have to make sure to check the fluid level once a month. All problems, issues, etc. Other than the minor things previously listed, the only problems this Jeep has is the factory electronic issues, which are unavoidable, and the cause of are unknown: The Left turn signal works about 30% of the time, and doesn't work 70%. The right works perfectly. The rear hatch locks perfectly, but will only unlock about 50% of the time. Can be avoided be pressing in on the hatch when unlocking. The right rear door locks perfectly, but wont unlock with the switch (has to be manually unlocked). The right reverse light needs to be replaced. This is a great vehicle for business, or just as an everyday driver and has opened the door for me to Jeep. I will continue to be a proud Jeep owner in the future.
