1980 Suzuki GS

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I bought this motorcycle about 2 years ago from an older man who bought it new in 1980. At that time it was 100% stock. It had been parked in a barn and not ridden for 25 years with only 2300 miles on it! I completely rebuilt the carbs, lined the gas tank, polished the bike up and besides the chrome being pitted in spots it looks and drives like a new Suzuki GS. This bike is VERY peppy and runs and idols perfect. Everything feels really tight and smooth on it and it is 100% functional. I have since replaced the back tire but still use the stock front tire. To my regret I recently laid it over so it has some scratches on the exhaust, ignition cover and turn signals but they are in unnoticeable places unless you are looking for them. There is also a very small ding/scratch on the tank that happened when I was lining the inside. I am including a cargo box (that easily detaches), and two windshields one being the original factory windshield. It has been a good bike but I need a new lawnmower so this has got to go. Now it has just 6,450 miles on it and is ready for some riding! I have tried to describe this motorcycle to the best of my ability; if you have any questions feel free to ask.
