This old truck is a 1987 F250 with 121500 miles. It has been a dailey driver for me for a year now and has yet to let me down. I bought it on ebay last year to haul a gooseneck horse trailer and horses to and from 4H events with my kids.I got a heck of a deal on a F350 Superduty dually so I have to let this one go. I drove it on a couple longer trips also and it did well. I welded the gooseneck ball in the bed and rewired the 6 way trailer plug, all works well. Also there is a trailer brake control in it. The engine is a 6.9 Liter International Harvester and is one of the years you could burn french fry oil in. The person I bought it from was doing that, but I changed fuel filter and burned regular diesel. It has a lot of life left in the drive train, but I will admit it is not the easiest truck to look at. I had the batteries tested last year and changed and cleaned the grounds up. It started every day last winter and we have some cold ones here. The block heater works very well, I would plug it in the night before and it started on some -20 degree mornings. I also replaced the power steering pump due to a leak. Brakes are good, tires are fair, transmission shifts good.All gauges work except the fuel gauge but it has 2 tanks so I just kept diesel in it all the time. The air does need recharging but compressor works.This truck has it share of rust and dings but if you are in need of a great work or farm vehicle at a great price, this is it!! VERY LOW RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!
