I am relisting this car with no reserve so someone is going to be getting a great deal. I do not have a reserve price on the car but did change my listing with a buy now price of $10,000.00 so if you really want the car it will give you the chance to do buy now and not have to wait till the end of the auction to get the car. 1966 Chevelle , this is getting to be one of the hardest to find chevelles that were made. 1966 Chevelle 454 Big Block bored 30 over to a 468 with 4 speed and 450 HP. The motor does not smoke at all when started or running just sounds great like it should for an engine like this should. This is a super nice car and if you can please come look at it in person. This Chevelle belongs to my son and He ask me to sell it for him because of his being called back to service. I will tell you all I know about the car and post plenty of pictures so you can see what the car looks like and it is beautifull but not show quality. It will need a little TLC to make it 100%. This chevelle is nothing but total muscle. The motor was built and put in in 1991. It has 454 engine with 450 hp. with about 7,000 miles on it. The 4 speed transmission is a 4 speed m-20 wide ratio with hurst shifter and hays dual friction clutch. The rear has a rock solid 10 bolt 3.31 ratio with heavy duty traction lock. Has 3" dual exhaust pipes with headman headers and glass pack mufflers that sounds great and turns heads where ever she is driven. I know that all my sons friends loved to ride with him in this car. Has really nice rally wheels with BFG tire in really good shape with plenty of tread left. The floor boards were redone when the car was redone. The truck is solid as well as the rest of the car. The under side and the frame of the car is in great shape This car is a really solid car. The windshield as well as the rest of the glass in the car is in very good shape with no breaks or cracks. As far as I can tell there is no bondo in the car. I took a magnet all around the car and didn't find any places the magnet didn't stick where it should. The car was redone about 10 years ago and now it's time to have some minor body work done to it to make the exterior back to 100%. The paint looks good but there is some bubbling in the paint in several spots that will need attention. The pictures will show how the paint has bubbled and it has bubbled in several spots so to make the car 100% I would have the car completly repainted. The interior of the car is in really nice shape but will need some TLC to be completed. It does not have a head liner. The door panels need to be replaced. He has panels and started to replace them. He had one stained and ready to install but thats as far as he went. The door panels will come with the car but will need to be stained right and installed. The car will need a head liner installed . Come with the 1966 chevelle radio but it's not installed either. I have it in the floor as you will see in the picture. There are probably other odds and ends that the interior will need to be completed to be made complete. The other 1966 chevelle 4 door was just sold so it is no longer avaiable. I know I haven't answered many question you will have so please ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them. This is a really nice car but is not show quality it is what most people would call a 10 footer. There are several things that will need attention to make this call 100% but it's 46 years old. Please do not assume that this car is in perfect condition. I took it for a ride today and it was so much fun but did notice that the breaks will need to be adjusted and the wiper blades will need to be replaced, and a cop pulled me over and ask me to please have tags on it the next time he sees it on the roads. The car is being sold " as is where is ". The car must be paid for in full and all funds must be cleared before the car can be shipped or picked up. I will accept bank check or cash. I will require a non refundable deposit of $500.00 money order within 48 hours at the end of the auction. The money order must be over nighter via USPS or other overnight delivery service. The balance will be due in 5 days of the end of the auction, Either bank check or cash at time of pick up. I hate to be so firm on payment but the cars and the rest of the things I'm selling for him are to pay his mortgage and he really needs the money. please contact me at the end of the auction for payment arrangements. I will also be listing the cars in the local paper. I am advertising this one for $12,000 or best offer so I reserve the right to remove the car from auction at any time.
