Vehicle Detail
I am the 2nd owner of this car, I bought it in 1980 when I was 16 years old. I also have almost every reciept & repair bil since 1980. the first owner painted the car from red to white, in 1994 i had the car completly restored, all rust removed, at Westport auto craft, it is britich racing green, the cost was $3,582. it was in storage and in 2005. i spent $2,093. to have it road ready, in september 5, 2009 i spent $1,123.40 at the Classic Car Gallery having it: removed & dismantle the carbs & clean carbs, clean & lube & adjust / fuel was drained, real wheel cylinders were repaired / break shoes & drums were also repaired, new battery, new real wheel cylinders, new plugs, new fuel filters, new fuel hose, new MPI fuel injectors, 6 new clamps & new battery. I am bought a house by the beach with no garage, i TURLY HATE to sell it, but at this point in my life it is not practical. I have been the custodian of this car for 30 years and its just time to pass the torch to someone who will love it as much as i do. The roof is not in great shape, because it was never driven in the rain, there are also new tiers, the radio has never worked, that did not matter to me. I Live in Fairfield, CT right off I95 and welcome anyone to come visit this great car. The vin # is GAN5UE140698G WITH 6,7000 original MILES. please let me know if you have any questions, thank you, On Jun-07-10 at 10:33:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Thank you for all the e-mails. Yes the dash board has some cracks, which i taped over. the drives side floor board is red from the original pait job, i will put the floor mat back. and there is one scatch by the antena, (the glare is from the camera's flash). I also included a picture of the back right bumper which is missing a small rubber bit. Please let me know if you have any other questions. thank you.On Jun-09-10 at 17:18:07 PDT, seller added the following information:Thank you for ALL the e-mails & phone calls. If you want a car you can drive 24/7 - 365 days a year, on high ways & byways = please rush to your nearest Honda dealer & do NOT BID. If you want a 30 year old British Classic that was renovated in 1994, bad roof & radio - that you MIGHT be able to drive about 8 months out of the year & will always need TLC & a garage, this MIGHT just be the car for you. The car is currently at classic car gallery of Westport, CT. it is being detailed, & a new battery, tuned up, at a cost of $300. Thank you Adam aka Max
