iggy_the_setmaster Store Up for consideration is a 1987 Jaguar XJS. We have owned this car for 3 years. It features the Lucas ignition and fuel systems. Fully loaded. All power options are in working order. No warning lights on the dash. We have invested a lot of time and money in her keeping her well maintained. She comes with all of the original paperwork, such as leather owner's manual, electrical/vacuum diagrams, security information, key fob, etc. This car had an after-market pwr. sunroof installed when purchased new. These cars did not have the sunroof option available from the factory. You will most likely not see another with a sunroof. We have the original installation papers for the sunroof, and it does not leak. Original radio with the code, and fresh window tint (receipt). Recent alignment. This car drives and brakes straight. No squealing and no pulling. She has new plugs and wires, including the ones under the compressor. Recent radiator flush, AMZOIL fluids in the engine with new filter, for which we have the receipt. True synthetic. New hood struts, front end bushings, u-joints, headlights, and a car cover for when she wasn't garaged. No rust under the car. Pans solid. AC works, but has never been converted. Compressor kicks on and air blows cool. Matching Michelin tires all the way around with 75% tread left. Jaguar mags all the way around including the spare. Super smooth acceleration and top end horsepower. She runs great. She needs paint! Some patch work has been done throughout the body, but the driver side front and rear quarter panels still need attention. The latch hook for the driver door exterior handle came off inside the door. There is currently a switch mounted on the door to open it from the outside. The handle inside works as normal, but we didn't want to damage the inside panel taking it off, and we don't know enough about how to do it. This car has a rebuilt title. It has been rebuilt with genuine Jaguar parts and not Ford reproduction. Matching numbers. We have the vehicle history report on her. She is currently registered and insured in the state of Florida. Insurance premiums for us cost $240.00 every 6 months. Not bad for a car like this. We used this car as a weekend car the entire time we owned it, and it has never given us a problem. Consumer reports rate her at a perfect 5 stars for reliability. Low NADA on her is $5000. We are selling her because we have another baby on the way, and she is meant to be driven instead of just sitting in the garage. If you want to inspect her, please contact us.
