This 1968 Torino GT Convertible is in very good shape. It is not in MINT condition - there are a couple of minor dings but nothing too noticeable. It has a 3 spd automatic transmission (on the tree) that shifts quite nicely. It has a power top, power breaks and power steering. A very elaborate stereo system was installed professionally a few years ago. It includes a 10" sub woofer in the trunk, an amp to power it, and an Alpine head unit in the glove box. It also has an iPhone/iPod connector so you can listen to that as you drive (it also charges the ipod). New 5x7 speakers were installed near the floor as well. The stereo installation did not obstruct the dash or any other part of the car and it sounds amazing. Remote control included. On Jun-08-10 at 23:55:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Several people have emailed me about the fact that this car is very likely one of the rare 1968 Indy 500 pace cars and suggested I get the Marti report.  I've ordered one and the results are not back yet though lots of signs point to this car being one.  Bottom line is I need to sell the car and will take buy it now or high bidder at this point, regardless of what the report says.
