Look what we found this past weekend!! An original 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint V8 Convertible. This is a very correct car that has been off the the road since 1974 and stored indoors. This is a correct Triple Black Convertible as well. It has its original 260 V8 and with a rare 3-speed manual shift on the column. The engine does run and the vehicle does drive but only safe for yard drives. The radiator is new, the waterpump is new and the engine has been tuned up. The carb probably still needs to be done, but it fires right up and can hold an idle. It shifts and drives, but again it is not road worthy. The original Sprint V8 Valve covers and Air Cleaner are still on the car. The Black bucket seat interior is in good shape and complete. All the gauges are there, the seats and center arm rest are there too along with all the door panels and trim. There are some rips in the seats but the seats are not rusty or distorted. All the window cranks and handles are there and all the windows roll up and down fine. The power convertible top also goes up and down fine! Overall the interior is all there but just needs to be cleaned and to replace the parts that have pitting etc. The Black exterior body also can be described as having the same complete appearance as the interior. The body looks all original and all the trim and glass is there. The anodize has faded, there are some dings and the front grille got pushed in. However, all the trim is straight, all the windshield trim is there and the front bumper looks pretty good. The chrome door handles have pitting, the rear bumper is rusty and basically the chrome and trim need to be restored. Overall, like the interior all the trim and parts are there. No chasing down parts, clips or moldings. The convertible top is in pretty good shape too and is not torn up, but should be replaced for a restoration. Rust.. Well there is some. The front fenders as you can see should be replaced, but we do have a good pair. The doors and rockers look good and although the rear quarters do have some rust/rot they do not need to be replaced. The floors and frame look solid but do expect to see the typical rusty look of an old car. It however is not severe or something that would make your stomach turn! The car is old, but very solid for its age. The 102,324 miles are believed to be correct as the car has been off the road since 1974 (see inspection sticker). This is a restoration project so know that going in. This Falcon Sprint is not a parts car. It is a good complete car that deserves a restoration. It is a very rare car being Triple Black and a 3 on the tree! You just do not see many, if any like this! The Falcon can be trailed or driven onto a trailer but cannot be driven home. This is a restoration project and we are hoping to find the right person for it. We may possible keep this car for our own collection and do not have to sell it. Needs nothing mechanically nor cosmetically. 2: Excellent mechanically and cosmetically. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
