I have here for your consideration my beautiful 1977 Lincoln Continental Town Car. First let me say I am only selling it because I am in the middle of a move and I have no where to store it (always been garaged) or I would not be selling it. This car has 104,400 original miles on it! I do drive it though, so some light miles will be added this week. No rot ever! There is two spots that have been proffessionally fixed. In the rear door jams (usual for these cars, pics included) that could use some paint. There is touch up paint on the car and a scratch & light ding or two (I drive the car). Parts of the car have been touched up before I got it. Vinyl top is in good shape. No leaks! This is a 10-20 footer. NADA Blue Book says a 20 footer is valued at $6350. I am asking for less! This car features a huge 460 c.i. V-8 big block with a rebuilt 4-barrel carburetor. A heavy duty C-6 3-speed automatic transmission and a 9" rear end with a highway gear. All power options (locks, windows, lights, JVC cassette radio, antenna) work except for the cruise control. An aftermarket cruise control was added before I had it and that one does not work either. I am sure it is an easy fix. The A/C needs to be recharged but the heat/defrost and blower work perfect. The Cartier clock still works like a champ which is pretty rare on these. Gas gauge does not work so you have to pay attention to the 24.2 gallon gas tank! Brand new tune up that included plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. Brand new oil change and coolant flush and the oil has been changed regularly. The brakes are newer and work flawlessly! This car glides down the road with a pinky (not recommended). All chrome and trim are intact except one very small latch that opens the ashtray on the rear drivers side door (althought the ashtray and cover are there). All lights and the horn work. Good tires with white wall paint. That is how I got the car (again a 10 footer). All the glass is perfect. The passenger seat had one small tear that was proffessionally sewn but hardly noticeable. Both front seats are full power. Huge trunk with spare. Starts with one click of the key with no pedal. Needs nothing to be driven daily or shown at your local shows. If you want a perfect car you could have it with a minimal investment. All numbers matching. No winters. Exhaust is good as well. The car is plated and insured so it is available for a test drive at my mom's home (remember I am in the middle of a move) in Farmington Hills Michigan zip code 48331. Local pick up only unless you arrange and pay for all shipping. Sold as is where is with no warranties or guarantees expressed, written, or implied. A $200 absolute non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of auction through Paypal or I hold the right to resell it. Full payment and pickup must be made within 7 days of the end of auction unless prior arrangements have been made or I reserve the right to resell and keep your deposit to cover my costs and time. The balance of the payment must be in cash or certified funds from a bank. The funds have to be verified and in my had as cash before the title and the car will go anywhere. Again the non-refundable deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances! Sorry but there are to many jokers out there.
