Vehicle Detail

I am listing my 1972 Pontiac LeMans Station Wagon. This is a 6 passenger station wagon. NO third seat. The following is a detailed description of my Wagon: MECHANICS: This car is powered by its original #’s matching 350 cu. in. V8 with a 2bbl carb. Turbo 350 auto trans, PS, Power brakes with discs in the front, This is an AC car. I pulled the engine and trans, replaced all soft plugs, painted and detailed the motor, installed new plugs, wires, points, distr. Cap, motor and trans mounts, oil and filter etc. Also installed a set of chrome GTO valve covers.. Serviced trans with new filter, gasket and fluid. Detailed eng compartment and re-installed eng and trans. Has dual exhaust. Replaced rubber brake lines and new disc pads in front. Car starts, runs, drives and stop very nicely. Also has new battery. I did not install AC components but they will go with car. Only leak is a slight drip from power steering pump. All lights work. Has under dash temp, oil pressure, and voltmeter gauges. Car runs cool, has great oil pressure, and charging system is good. BODY: This wagon is very solid. Originally had wood grain on sides that was removed years ago, and trim holes were filled and car was painted Carousel red (Orange). Paint is old and a few of the trim holes are showing. Has a couple of bubbles in paint on tailgate, but no rust thru. Small rust area about 2” above rear side window(see picture). Overall very solid with a dent in drivers side front fender(see pic). Floor pans and rear storage area completely solid. Rear tailgate window goes up and down from switch on dash. Tailgate opens 2 ways. Glass is all good. INTERIOR: Interior needs work. I replaced front bench seat with a matching seat from a 2 dr so seat backs fold forward. Rear seat folds down flat. Dash pad in very good condition. Radio area has been cut for modern radio. Both rear door panels have been cut for speakers. Seats need to be redone, need new carpet and headliner. WHEELS AND TIRES: I have installed a set of restored Rally II wheels. Front are 15“ X 6“ and rears are 15“ X 7“. Has brand new raised white letter tires, 275/60-15 rear, 235/60-15 front. CONCLUSION: I have made this car a reliable driver and finished under hood clean up, Needs Interior and minor body work and paint to make it nice. I have set what I feel is a very reasonable buy-it-now price. I am down sizing my car collection and recently sold 2 cars here on eBay, and both winners were very happy with their purchases(see my feedback). If you are seriously considering buying/bidding on this car please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns you may have. cell 559-479-1636. Bidders with zero or a negative number of feedbacks must contact me prior to bidding or bid will be cancelled. Car is sold AS IS/ Where IS. I require a $500 non-refundable deposit to be paid within 3 days, and the balance is due in 7 days. All shipping costs are the responsibility of winner. I can deliver the car to the local DAS shipping depot if using DAS for transport. Car is located in Clovis CA., which is next to Fresno.
