We have recently received several Honda Odyssey minivans in trades and here is another nice one.
This is a 2004 Honda Odyssey EX with just over 103,000 1 owner miles. The exterior is finished in Midnight Blue Pearl Metallic and it is in good condition. We just had this vehicle fully detailed and it presents very well. The paint is reflective and smooth but there are a few cosmetic flaws. The right fender and door have a scrape, the rear hatch has been touched up (with some paint that does match very well), the hood has some long thin scratches and the clearcoat is peeling on the mouldings. Overall, not uncommon for a 6 year old vehicle with over 100k miles.
The interior is very clean with no trace of tobacco or pet odors. We just shampooed the upholstery and carpeting and it looks and smells great. The front seats are buckets with the driver's being power assisted and there is a folding center tray between the seats. The second and third rows are benches that fold flat for additional storage. All the power amenities are here and working fine. Power windows/locks/tilt/cruise/vent windows/dual air conditioning/radio with CD player are some of the convenience options you will find. To keep those rear seat passengers entertained, there is a roof mounted DVD screen.
The powertrain that Honda uses in these vehicles is a proven 3.5 port fuel injected SOHC V6 engine backed up by an overdrive automatic transaxle driving the front wheels. As with most Hondas, you expect it to run well and it does. No odd noises or smoke from this V6. The transmission shifts correctly through all the gears.
All four tires are matching BF Goodrich radials, they are worn to between 5/32" and 11/32". Two look new and two are about half worn.
We did send this Odyssey through our shop for a safety check and service and our technician reported that it "runs great". All the brakes are within safety thickness, suspension is tight and ride is quiet. He performed a throttle body service (injector cleaning), changed the oil/filter and checked and topped off all the fluids. No obvious mechanical issues were found. He did note a small chip in the windshield right near the oil change reminder sticker.
We have all the owner's booklets and 1 key with an inoperable remote. We do not have any service records, so we cannot answer questions about maintenance history.
We have placed a low "BUY IT NOW" price that is well below Kelly Blue Book for this Honda. If you need that family hauler, check this one closely.
