This is a 96 passat tdi.IT runs fine engine starts right up smooth sounds great.transmission shifts good.Ac kicks in not sure if real cold but compressor kicks in and no noises.3 windows work left rear does not operate.Please read slowly and take note will tell you what i know .Bad=Has some rust on doors around windshield post,sunroof inoperational,windshield broke,Turbo does not work did not look into why but no check engine light.Runs down road ok but turbo does not actuate maybe boost valve unsure and am not going to check it out.Park lamps gone,dents,car has shake at 60 mph feels like balance issue ?Headliner GONE {project car]Good= engine starts right up sounds good,transmission shifts ok,Solid underneith Brakes feel good stops fine Will make a good driver if you put a little time into it.Unknown history on car took on trade and do not know anything as to any time before i got car.SELLING AS IS WHERE IS radio works lights all appear to work Selling no reserve so don't askl what it is there is not any just bid what you are comfortable at and it will all go ok .I have tilte for car. you can come and look at car if you want. ask questions and i will answer as soon as possible.Pay pal accepted DEAL needs done within 10 days as far as payment car can set here if need be no storage will be charged just pay for car promptly.I got car as you see it nothing has been done to it so take that into cosideration when bidding have fun and good luckOn Jun-02-10 at 15:16:12 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been ask several times as to condition of timing belt I don't know did not look at it. As with all these cars when it is not known when it was changed just change it to be safe.! other thing i found out is car has a drain on battery if not started for a couple of days it is dead maybe trunk light i don't know just wanted you to know.Alt charges and light goes out so that will need attention also.
