Up for auction is my 1967 ford mustang coupe. Me and my wife use this as around town daily driver here lately now that the weather is nice. Car is tagged and insured in AL. I'm not really sure where to start. First the motor....motor was rebuilt by previous owner. I had my mechanic check it out and tune it up.... it has a cam in it and a brand new holley 4 barrel on it's 289 engine. It starts right up and runs great. The engine builds around 65-75 pounds of oil pressure. It has an aftermarkeet oil pressure gauge and temperature guage. Car has an automatic in the floor shifter. The transmission is also rebuilt. shifts great...actually better than great...you can't even really feel it shift. the transmission does have a slow leak...I'm not sure where. It doesn't leak when i drive it regularly. But if I let it sit for a couple weeks there's about half a quart of transmission fluid on the ground. This is a manual steering and manual drum brake car. It steers fine but I do have a front end rebuild kit from Mustangs Unlimited that comes with the car along with new front shocks. The brakes could definitely use some attention. I don't mind driving it and I can stop it just fine but I wouldn't want to have to panic stop it.All lights work except the blinkers. You'll have to get a part that goes behind your steering wheel in order for the blinkers to work...brake lights work fine. Car has Brand new tires on it...cooper cobras. This car has the magnum 500 wheels. The paint is a 20 footer. It's not bad but it looks as if it never got buffed out. I actually like the paint just like it is and the car gets a lot of compliments. This was a rust free car when I got it and it still is. No bondo that I can find either. It Obviously was garaged most of it's life. It does have fairly new floorboard patch panels put in by the previous owner. All glass is in very good shape. The car is missing a few pieces. It's missing the rear valance panel and the chrome piece above the windshield. I have a box of parts...mainly interior parts that go with the car. I wanted to put the interior back together but never got around to it. It's all there though far as I can see. It could all use repainting or reconditioning. The seats are fairly good...not seperations or big tears but they're kinda dry. The panel on the back of the drivers seat is hanging off...looks like it uses door panel clips to be put back on right. That's all I can think of at the moment. Sorry for the pics...car was slightly dirty in them and I've never washed the engine. This auction includes the Car plus...front end rebuild kit with the lower control arms...new shocks....sound deadener material and a brand new headliner as well as all the interior parts and exterior badges and antenna etc....I will help if you would like the car shipped. You could drive this car home but I wouldn't take it on a long interstate drive because of the brakes...I don't want to take a long trip in anything without power disc brakes.
