For sale is my 93 Honda Civic DX that has served as one of my company cars. I purchased the car a little under a year ago and made fairly extensive repairs, as the plan was to keep the car and drive it 300k + miles. Since, however, our company will be closing, we have decided to liquidate our vehicles. Back to the car: It has just under 100k miles. Many major repairs have already been performed (totaling $2,300) -timing belt, water pump, belts, muffler, thermostat and a complete tune-up. I've also added a Sony head-unit and Pioneer speakers. The issues the car has, however, are that the temperature gauge will rise when stopped after the car has been driven for a short while. Once driving, the temperature gauge will fall back to normal. My mechanic and I have are unsure why this is happening as we've run a series of tests that have all come back negative. Otherwise, the only other issues are that the rear windows will not roll up or down as it appears the crank mechanisms are malfunctioning and finally, occasionally the shifter will be difficult to move out or park -this is rectified my using the manual release function with the car key -very minor. So again, the car is decent and I would not hesitate to drive it very far. It just has issues when stopped, with regard to the temperature. I've outlined the car's condition as specifically as possible. The price in which I'm asking is essentially for the repairs that have been done to this car -a very good deal. This generation civic is an absolutely excellent car, With that being said, there are obviously no warranties on a 17 year old car. All sales are final, cash and serious offers only.
