Barn find 1965 Mustang "A" CODE 289 V-8 with 4 speed manual transmission. Nice original car that has been in storage since 1985. Nice silver blue color code with GT Wheels/tires. I purchased the car about 1 year ago and have gone through everything to get it running & driving. It had been in storage for a long time. The gas tank was cleaned out and all filters changed. After getting the engine running a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing was installed. The engine was detailed and some components powder coated. The tires are in excellent condition. I have replaced the hood and right front fender. They were both trim painted the original color and properly installed. The engine is tired and should be rebuilt when the restoration is done. The car was purchased new in California and then brought to Colorado, so it has been in a dry climate all its life. This is a very complete original car that could be restored or used as a doner for a fastback or convertible. The 4 speed and "A" code engine are very desireable. I also replaced the timing chain, all wheel cylinders, master cylinder, turned the drums and fluids. I will be happy to provide additional pictures and honest answers to any questions.
