This machine has been restored and upgraded and is many ways better than new. I am the second owner. The PO was a certified BMW dealer and it was his personal bike. It sat on the floor of his showroom for many years, which is why the mileage is so low. It has a recent unleaded top-end, new color-matched gas tank, New clutch, new driveshaft, new steering damper, new cables, new brake master cylinder, , new rear main seal, rebuilt 40 mm carbs, 32/11 rear end, and more. The billet upper triple tree, Telefix fork brace, and new Ikon shocks make handling great. The Brand new Dyna III ignition and acessory plug allow use of electric clothing and makes for easy charging. both seats are in excellent condition. The paint is very good with a couple scratches and the usual small gravel dings. The drive and clutch splines and steering head bearings are in excellent shape and recently lubed. (Their condition will attest to the mileage) The clock and speedo are also new. I have the original speedo/odo and service records showing the mileage. In my three years of ownership I've tried to do everything by the book and spared no expense. In fact, i have more invested in new parts than my reserve price. This machine is sound and ready to ride. It's very fast, handles like a dream, and the fairing and original Krauser bags make it an excellent touring machine. The front wheel has been replaced as per the BMW factory recall. I've added a Brown side stand and LED tail light.
