Up for auction is this 1999 Volkswagen Passat GLX powered by the bullet proof 1.8 litre turbo engine backed up by a 5 speed automatic transmission. The exterior is a rich forest green on a cream leather interior (with no rips tears or excessive wear), power sunroof, front and side airbags, rear window shade, power windows, power door locks, Clarion AM/FM/CD, A/C as well as all the standard features. I purchased the car along with a trailer as a package deal and quite frankly have no use for it as I already have more cars than I need. The car runs great and drives around the driveway just fine, however the gentleman I purchased it from mentioned the transmission slips from time to time, from what I understand a simple fluid change should solve the issue, but do your due diligence. Mechanically this car is perfectly sound and drives tight. There is no play in the suspension or mysterious squeaks. The body is presentable, however there a couple of small dings/dents here and there but nothing major and everything is strictly cosmetic, most importantly there is not a spot of rust anywhere on this car. There is some very minor curb rash on the wheels, but once again just cosmetic. The underbody is completely rust free and solid. As previously the interior in good condition, but personally I would give it a good cleaning. Overall this car presentable fun car and is a great reliable economical car which gets great gas mileage. -TERMS OF SALE- This car is being sold with NO RESERVE and a $1.00 starting bid...high bidder gets it!!!
