1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible 117,000 actual miles ( low for this car) NO RESERVE I purchased this from a Saab mechanic a few months ago. It was very well maintained mechanically. This car runs and drives so nicely for its age. The turbo is still very strong and the engine is powerful and does not smoke or leak oil. It does not burn oil or leak any oil at all. Full dipstick at oil change time. The transmission shifts smooth in all gears. The top works flawlessly and the pump is quite and does not whine. You can see by the engine photos that this engine was babied. It is very clean and there is no oil buildup like you would usually see on a 117,000 mile car. Tires are like new in front and about 40% tread left on the rears. Brakes work perfectly and have been done recently. Everything works in the car except the A/C. Now the A/C worked when I first bought it. The compressor does cycle and will need to be properly charged. Besides the A/C everything including the heated seat, mirrors, door locks, all windows etc work properly. Even the antenna works up and down. Now when I first purchased this car the interior seats had no rips or tears. I did however use a SEM Leather color dye to freshen up the interior as the seats were dull looking. I did the side panels as well and suede trim. New mats from my Gti VW were put in too. I also put 4 brand new pioneer speakers and it has a JVC CD Player which sounds great. The body is in good shape but there are rust bubbles on the hood. There is no other rust on the car. These commonly rust in this spot only. The paint looks good kinda flat on the clear but could benefit from a real paint job. The dash is near mint with a couple very very small cracks at the top by the glass. I have yet to see a better dash than this on a saab turbo. Great car to restore back to its original glory or great beach car. Selling because I bought a 924 S to drive now. It is a wool top and it's in excellent condition. There are no rips or tears. There is one dime size scuff, but I believe it was part of the wool from the factory.
