Vehicle Detail

1968 Camaro SS Clone 350 cubic inch engine 4 Speed Transmission 15 inch Rally Wheels Metallic Rally Green Paint Here is a pretty good, driver quality first generation Camaro that can be driven just like it is, or can be restored while you drive. I don't want to call it a project, but I won't call it a finished car either. It has a pretty good body that has been repaired in the past, but it's starting to show it's age. Nothing too gross...but it's there. I took photos of what I thought is the worst stuff, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I can take additional photos to help you be informed about what you're buying. With that said , it is a good running and driving car. The brakes are manual drums, but stop the car well. The power steering works as it should, and doesn't leak. It has a 10 bolt non-posi rear, but works well without any noises or popping. It EFFORTLESSLY spins the tires in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. I've never tried to do it in 4th, but am sure it will. It runs great, and runs cool. NO odd noises or smoke, and it runs and drives without any issues. It has new header and collector gaskets, new air shocks, and new rear tires and almost new front tires. The car is equipped with front and rear spoilers, traction bars, and a Super Sport Hood. The body and paint look good and the car draws a lot of attention, but as you can see in the photos, there are bubbles here and there. The color is actually a little darker There are no dings or dents that I'm aware of, and the glass seems to be the original. The windows all roll up and down, and the trunk, hood, and doors open as they should. The doors do not unlock with the key, but the trunk does. The radio doesn't power up, and I never looked to see why. The back up lights do not work, and the wipers don't work. The gas gauge and the speedometer do work, and the headlights, turn signals and taillights work, but it seems like a marker light or two doesn't. The console could be mounted better, but it functions. The floors and trunk have been patched over the years. It wasn't a bad job, and nothing you have to rush out and do over in the near future. The front and rear seats have a cloth insert sewn into them, but everything else is stock looking. The headliner, sail panels, door panels, dash, carpet and visors are all very presentable. The seats are done well, but I would rather they looked stock. The car doesn't have a trim tag on it. It looks like it's been missing for a long time. It does have a VIN plate, so if you need a trim tag, they can be purchased if you really need one... I didn't. Ok, I'll stop there, but if you have any questions, feel free to call or text me at 941-740-2277, or you can email me at northshorebill@aol.com. Emails and texts get a quicker repsonse usually, but if you want to talk and I don't get to the phone, please leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
