All #'s matching, original Crossfire Injection L83 5.7 Liter 350 V8, runs excellent with tons of power, no smoking or issues. Problematic throttle bodies were rebuilt & updated, no flat spots or starting issues like others 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive and fresh service (fluid, filter, and pan gasket) shifts firm and great and will smoke the tires with no problem, No clunks or issues. 1 owner, 71K mile car, No accidents, less than 500 miles put on the car in the last 3 years. Car has been started and driven at least 1 mile every 2 weeks or so to keep everything lubricated and up to operating temperatures Not a standard, regular Corvette...the Z51 performance package is still considered by today's standards to make this Corvette handle better than even new Supercars...handles better than a new Z06 and lighter....very few of these cars had the Z51 performance package and all the other options listed below!! Ice cold A/C, Hot heat Brand new rebuilt digital instrument cluster...no more dim lights like all the others that either do not work, or you can't see them!! I have this car as well as several others from my personal collection listed on ebay right now, so check them out too. Sorry this description is long, I just want to be thorough, so please read it, before asking questions. Why am I selling?? I have 22 cars in my personal collection and need to thin a few out, I am not losing my house, or desperate in any way, so this is a like to sell, not a must sell. I could paint this car and put new weatherstrips on it, and some other odds and ends and sell it for $10-15K like other ones have gone for recently, but I just do not have the time. It is sitting in the corner of my warehouse and rarely driven. I own an automotive performance shop (15+ years in business) that deals with high end car upgrades, and am booked up thru the end of July. I got this car from the original owner and it is still in his name and signed off, so you will officially be the second owner. He had it registered in Tennessee, Texas and then CA. Car has a clean and clear Car-fax too. Very clean throughout, including underside. Never driven in bad weather and always garaged. except when owner drove it to work on nice days. Runs, drives, handles, and sounds great. A/C is ice cold, Heat is hot, car never overheats even in 120 degree summer days. Car always starts right up, first turn of the key. Has always been properly maintained and never raced or abused. Autocheck score is higher on this car than any other one listed, and very few of them have the Z51 package, and none with all these options on top of that, so it is safe to say there are none like it available at this time. Drive as is and do upgrades as you drive and enjoy it, or do all at once!! This car needs the following to be perfect: 1) Paint, either in original black or color of your choice as paint is mostly original and faded, with typical cracks and clearcoat peel...at least this way you can have done exactly to your standards and you know there is nothing hiding under new paint like on other ones!! 2) Weatherstrips ( $425 for a complete kit, available on eBay), doesn't leak when washed, but weatherstrips are old and dry. 3) Dash pad as it is cracked (found a mint used one on eBay for $200), or you can just put a dash rug or dash cap over the existing pad for less than $70. 4) Power door locks don't work...could be a fuse, the switch, or the actuators, any one of those, is an inexpensive fix as the parts are all available. 5) Radio doesn't work...again, could be a fuse or may need to be rebuilt, or you can upgrade to a newer CD player. 6) Valve cover gaskets have a small leak, I am including new ones and trans needs an O-ring where shifter goes into trans...again, a small leak, 7) Hood struts need replacing ( available on eBay for less than $50) so hood won't stay up on its own. 7) Horn and interior lights don't work..again could be a fuse, or relay, and the driver's side headlight motor sometimes does not work. Also could use a new headliner which is available on eBay for less than $30. You can get an upper driver's side door panel trim and steering wheel are available brand new on eBay for around $200 for both. Both doors open and close firmly and solidly. Car has had seat covers on it since new, so seats are excellent and have been treated with leather conditioner frequently...you won't find a nicer set of seats on one of these cars!! Doesn't have the usual wear on the bolsters like all the others you will see. Carpet looks really good, and floor mats are new. No odors, or signs of smoking in the car. No check engine lights, or warning lights. All gauges work. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles or once a year what ever came first with Mobil 1 synthetic since new. Power hatch works, power windows work, but are a little slow. Has original cargo cover too. You won't find another 1 owner Corvette in this shape for anyway close to this price that is not thrashed or abused or passed through many owners!! With a little time and work you can have a showcar that will only keep going up in value. You can make money off this car!! I have owned many Corvettes over the years, and this one feels much more solid and drives nicer than all of them, even better than the newer Z06's. Car is light, solid, and nimble on the road, even at high speeds. The Z51 package was an expensive option that not alot of people ordered. It includes a quicker ratio, higher effort steering rack, heavy duty tuned shocks, heavy duty cooling system and oil cooler, stiffer springs, larger diameter sway bars, larger disc brakes in the front and rear, and different air deflectors in the front to aid with aerodynamics and cooling of the engine. Car comes with new valve cover gaskets, brand new in original GM box front and rear emblems, and the original 57 page color dealer brochure, slip, and poster. I also have the removable original console cassette holder. Original option sticker is still intact with all the options in the behind the seat compartment, Very few of these cars you will find will have these options and be so well preserved without being restored. All glass appears original with no cracks or chips. I did a Buy It Now, fixed price auction on this car so you don't have to waste your time bidding and constantly checking back to see if you are outbid. There is no reserve. Outright price for this car is $4750 which I feel is more than fair for what the car is and isn't, or you can make an offer. No taxes collected by me or any document fees. I always like to do Buy It Now, fixed price auctions over regular auctions where people put on their watch list, then forget to bid at the last minute, then are upset that they missed the car!! Deposit of $500 must be made immediately thru Paypal upon the use of BUY IT NOW and remaining balance due with in 7 days of winning car.
