This auction will be for a 1975 MG Convertible. This is a project car for someone and not a vehicle you can get into and drive off in. This MG is however a good project car that starts, runs and does drive. In fact it was registered up until last year. The MG is a factory Red car with a Black interior. The interior is in good shape and mostly complete. The console is in good shape and the bucket seats are not torn or dirty. The dash does have a crack, but it is not in bad shape either. All the gauges are there, including a tach and everything seems to be working fine. There is a custom remote Pioneer am/fm/cd player as well and the door panels and floor carpet all look pretty good. You probably would not spend too much time or money finishing the interior as overall it looks good. The engine looks to be original and runs good. The clutch and four speed transmission are in good shape and the car does run and drive. The drivetrain is strong and looks pretty original too, but this car is not a driver and would need to be gone through before so. Despite the car running and driving, the radiator is old and rotted, the wires look old etc. and it needs to be gone through to be safe. The brakes seem ok. The Red body is the key here, as everyone knows with these cars. Overall the body is in good restore-able condition.The paint is old and faded. It might come back, but the car needs to be done. The doors, fenders and rockers seem ok, but the hood has rust on the lip as does the trunk lip. The lower quarters and front rockers are rotted and need to be replaced. The floors have there small rust/rot spots here-and-there as does the uni-body of the car, but overall it is workable. The trunk is in excellent shape and yes, that original matching, "like-new" spare rim is included along with the tool kit. The chrome on the car is pitted etc. like you would expect to find on a 35 year old project car, but overall the car is a good project for the right person. Project car 1975 MG Convertible. A good car to start with and pretty original too. Starts, runs, drives but not ready for the road yet. The miles show 96,314 and they are believed to be correct based on the title. This MG belongs to a friend, but he knows he is never going to get it finished and wants to move on. Overall a good MG to work with and for a good price! Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. Therefore, signs of wear and use may be present beyond our description (small paint chips, nicks, scratches, fading, wheel scuffs etc.) may exist. Also, Most of our vehicles are New England vehicles. Normal oxidation and/or surface rust may exist under the vehicle. However, anything that inhibits structural integrity will be disclosed. 5)After the auction ends Fedele Auto Sales will attempt to make contact with high bidder via email. If confirmation is not received within 24 hours Fedele Auto Sales reserves the right to cancel this auction or sell to any qualified bidder. 6)PAYMENT METHOD:Full payment for this vehicle is to be be paid within (5) days. This is to be done with one of the following methods: Bank to Bank wire transfer, Credit Card, Paypal, Bank Check or Money Order. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
