Selling the wifes Volvo. Has been a Good car but we have moved onto mini vans in this house kids getting bigger and older the ole wagon isn't doing the trick The license has expired we didn't renew the insurance and heck it has a few issues, so we have decided to part with the car. First the good. The car starts drives no trans slippage all window and power options work Save the Drivers Seat. I think there is crap gumming up the rails so the seat wont go all the way back or foward. Sunroof is in Good shape and doesn't leak. The interior could use a good scrubbing but no rips. Most of the body panels are in good shape. Now the bad. The car is in need of a passenger side front blinker lens and driver headlight. The head light works just has a crack. The rear blinker assembley is held together by tape. The Passenger rear door has a dent in it and could probably be pushed back out . The rear bumper has a little scrap around the exhaust. Now the super bad. I am told by my trusted Volvo Mechanic that it needs a head gasket. The shop wants about 1500 to do the work. Big part of the reason why are we selling it. I want to be up front from the get go. The car has never overheated and if you are a volvo mechanic this may be the car for you. We have been on the fence on whether to spend the two grand to make it right and drive it for another hundered thousand miles but we got a super deal on a newer mini van. This car is priced to sale . The photos make the car look better then it is. It has been brush beat and will need a good buffing to bring the paint back. The car has survived 10 years of a near sighted wife and two wild racious girls so well loved would be a kind way to describe it. PLEASE PLEASE ask any questions before you bid. I will prob send bidders my phone number if they are truly interested. The Battery is no good :( It will need a new battery too.
