Relisted - Starting bid lowered $1000. 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Landua w/ 345 hp 428. Fourth Generation T-bird. Two owner car. Second owner had car for about twenty years along with a first generation convertible baby bird. As such this car did not get a lot of use. Second owner recently passed and I am selling the car for the family, I will do my best to describe what I have seen but my knowledge of the car is limited. This car would be a nice driver quality car with some work. Drove it about ten miles to get it to my house to clean it up. Runs rough, but does run. Believe carburetor needs a good cleaning. There is some give in the front end components and could use new bushings, etc to tighten up the ride. Alternator belt was loose, I tightened it an replaced the battery. Second option would be to tear down for a restore. Car appears very complete and had a some parts in the trunk that appear to be bought some time ago. Parts include 2 Thunderbird script for rear quarters, brake master cylinder, exhaust manifolds, radio, fuel pump, car cover and an original shop manual. There were pictures of the car being repainted by a local shop in the 1980's by the previous owner. Car does not look like it was disassembled at that time, but was taken down to metal in most areas. The passenger side door has one or two runs and has signs of body work underneath. Not sure if this was the from the original paint job or a followup repair. Paint job is showing it's age with small chips a couple cracks and a couple dime sized rust spots. If you leave it as a driver you could leave the paint or touch up a couple areas, if you chose to restore then it will need a repaint. Interior is in very good shape. Includes power windows, power drivers seat. One small rip in the drivers seat and the steering wheel is separated about 1/4" at the top. Bottom of both door panels are loose and passenger window does not work with switch. Antenna is in the trunk. If payment is other then cash, payment must clear before car will be released. You are responsible for transportation. It will require towing.
