I am selling my 540 Sport. This option was only offered in 1995. It included M suspension (adjustable ride), servomatic steering, M interior (sterring wheel, door threshold), factory body panels and front spoiler and M sideview mirrors. This was an $8,000 option and only 200 were produced for the US market. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. Originally a California car. I bought it in 03 with 63,000 miles and then sunk about $10,000 into it making it a near perfect cars (all service records and receipts available). I drive this car now about once every other month and it's just time to sell her. I bought this car in southern California and had Callas Rennsport do all the work. They are an amazing shop in Torrance, CA. Basically I took it in and told them to fix anything and everything that was or could go wrong with the car. The result is a car I would not hesitate to drive across country in myself. All belts, hoses, gaskets, bushing, bearings, sensors, cat coverters, water pump, mass air sensor have been replaced. The so-called lifetime transmission fluid was properly replaced at 70,000. I changed the oil every 5,000 miles with Mobile One. This car has the original engine. A compression test was done at 63,000 miles with no signs of excessive wear. Breaks were done recently with new rotors. Break fluid has been changed frequently. I can e-mail receipts for this and other services performed since I owned the car upon request. 4.0 litre DOHC, 32 valve V8, (BMW under-rated HP of 282), Automatic Transmission, Nurbugring & Adaptive-M Suspension, M Servomatic Steering, Pilot Sport 2s, Cosmos Black Metalic, Parchment Leather Sport interior (Recaro 6 way adjustable seats) Custom sound system by Bob's of Torrance: All speakers have been replaced with top of the line Pioneer, NO MODS MADE TO THE CAR, the system looks stock (I still have the original stereo and unlock code), Pioneer Head Unit with IPod Input. Subwoofer and hand made "Precision Power" amp. This car is well cared for and often mistaken for brand new. Near perfect condition. It has some small pebble chips in the front spoiler, no dings, interior is near perfect. The only flaw is a small tear in the driver's door panel which cannot be seen when the door is shut. It's along the area where the door panel meets the car when closing the door. It is shown on the last picture. This car is sold "as is".
