Vehicle Detail
This is My 69 Continental. It was originally my grandfathers. He was the original owner and the car was garage kept since 69'. He lived in Costa Rica 6 months of the year so the car was only used in the summer. the spot of rust on the passenger rear quarter had been there for 15 years as a bubble and i decided to grind and cut out the cancer. its an east fix with some steel and a welder. that is the only rust on the car! the floors and trunk are solid and barely any surface rust underneath it has been outdoors for the past 3 years now. the vinyll top is origional dealer installed in 69 . he ordered it without a vinyl top so it would be painted under the vinyl. no rust or bubbling under it and its in nice shape. the a/c has a new style compressor conversion kit installed but I never finished it. I put on a rebuilt carb but its missing the spring for the accelerator pump on the side the car does run good but needs an exhaust. One of the power window motors is bad but I forget what one at the moment I replaced one of them. all the window switches were cleaned and operated good last time I checked. the factory AM/FM radio was rebuilt and works. their is NO cracks in the dash and its still soft. The rugs have some fading from age the clock still runs but keeps crap time lol. seats have normal wear and the driver seat had 1 small tear but not bad considering. The power seat gear broke but the motor runs.I love this car and hate to get rid of it . I wanted it my whole life but don't have the time it deserves. It drives like your sitting on a cloud. any questions feel free to ask On May-12-10 at 19:41:36 PDT, seller added the following information: My apologies for not posting the pic of the rust spot I didn't realize it didn't upload.
