Up for sale is a faithful old friend of mine... It would appear as though my beloved FJ60 is the latest victim of the bad economy. The details: Over $3500 spent in modifications to the body and frame, all heavy steel construction. The safari rack was designed for a tent to be set up in, it is very strong and can easily handle several people at once. The body was very rusty, I chose to repair it with Herculiner truck bedliner. The thickness varies, but averages about 1/8 inch thick, heavier on the bottom, thinner on toward the top. It holds up to thick brush and rocks very well. It also reduces road noise and vibration. It's an unusual repair, but I stand by it. The drivetrain- bulletproof The brakes- acceptable, will require attention soon, but completely safe. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition! All original, and clean. Only two small (barely noticable) cracks on the dash. Sorry, no air con.... If you are looking to purchase a serious off road vehicle built for durability and strength, then you won't be disappointed with my faithful friend. This truck has been my daily driver for many years now, and I believe it has many years left. Thanks for looking!
