Up for sale is a 1974 Mercury Comet 2 door coupe. It has 84,000 original miles. This car has a nice rust free body. There is damage to the L. rear quarter, but overall, it is a solid car. It has a 302 with an automatic transmission (needs rebuilt). It does run, but takes a long time to go into drive. This car came from California and has not been in this area very long. It does have a floor shifter that is not hooked up (what we have of the linkage is included). The interior is okay (there is wear and seam tears). This car can be a driver quality car with a little body work, transmission work, and paint. The side mirror needs reattached (it is hanging off the car). The interior is black in color.
