1968 Ford Fairlane 500, Runs and drives nice. 1000's in upgrades. Original motor built to a 347 Stroker with a Probe Street fighter kit, Edelbrock Aluminum Heads, Roller Rockers, Comp Cams cam, MSD Ignition and much more. Runs great and fast. Has about 2000 miles on it. I can provide a detailed list of parts if needed. Have receipts and spec info. Transmission is a c4, with bolt on bell housing, rebuilt with B&M kit at the same time as motor. Works perfect. Rear end is a Ford 8 inch, rebuilt, narrowed 2 inches, new 4:11 gears with racheting locker. Hooker headers with Hooker Mufflers, needs tail pipes. Priced it locally at 225.00 with tips. Body, Sub Frames, Floors and Trunk very solid, has had lower rear quarters patched in small areas, Front fenders have small bubble up. Everything else is Rock Solid. Original western car. Paint is good, not show quality, shines real nice and has only a couple small scratches. Car was originally Gold by door tag and as evidenced in trunk and upper firewall and was painted about 13 yrs ago. Has a small ding on left side of hood and a small one on left side of rear window,(see pics) Definitely presentable and usable as-is. Interior is decent for original, showing some wear as pictured. Back seat top has a couple holes from sun wear. Dash is cracked, Drivers seat has corner tear. A couple of small pieces on passenger door panel missing. New B&M Shifter. Trim is in good shape overall, missing rear chrome trim on passenger window. I have rear panel Emblem coming and will be included. New Pro Comp Guages, never hooked up. New Edelbrock NOS System, never hooked up. Only tank mounted. Wheels are in great shape. Front tires are perfect, Rears are usable but have scrapes from wheelwells when car was built. But the rear is raised and problem solved. Does not rub now. Overall the car runs and drives nice. It is fast and sounds awesome. All electrical works. Windows are good and work. Nothing hidden or strange going on. Just needs a few finishing touches, or would be a great one to build your dream Fairlane from.
