1997 BMW 540i This is a no reserve 5 day auction and will go the highest bidder. This a rare burgundy exterior complimented by a beige leather interior. This is a great looking car. It also has a very high AUTOCHECK score. This is my personal car and baby. I have owned it for a little over (2) years and it has been a great car. It handles extremely well and is a lot of fun to drive. It is a 1997, but because of the clean condition and upgraded head lights and tail lights, many people have told me that it looks much newer. I'll let the pictures tell the story. I've owned several BMWs, and this one, has/is my favorite. I am only selling her because I am buying a newer 7 series. The car is very clean, always garaged, and runs very well. I am a long time ebayer with over 140 transactions with a perfect 100% feedback rating. I try to disclose everything I know about anything that I am selling. So, I will try to do so here. The check engine light is NOT on. There are some pixels that are missing (very typical for these cars), but the mileage can be easily read. Please keep in mind that this is 13 year old car and the typical wear and tear associated with a vehicle of this vintage. Here are some of the features... V8 4.4 liter engine - very powerful. Here is what I have had done on the car. I had the car painted last year. Initially, I thought I would just have the bumpers painted as they had oxidized on the top, but when I brought it to the paint shop, I decided to just go ahead and have the car painted. New Front Rotors/Brakes (within the past few months) Recent PA Inspection Replaced left from tie rod Regular oil changes (just had it changed) Here are some of the imperfections/things that will be needed. The rubber trim around the windshield is dried/very brittle, so it should be replaced. Tires have approx 30% tread remaining, so, by the end of the summer, they will need to be replaced. Very small stain on the rear passenger carpet (see pic) Side mirrors have some glass discoloration (common is these older BMWs) SRS light has always been on (I am told it is a sensor) So, again, please keep in mind that the car is used, but I think you will find it to be in very good shape.
