I am selling a 1997 Honda Prelude Turbo with a fully built H22a4. This car has over 15k in parts and labor under the hood. The reason I am getting rid of it is because it has transmission issues and it's not something I want to deal with right now. I'm willing to give someone a good deal on it but I won't just GIVE it away because I still owe a little bit left on the car from the loan I took out on it and I recently had it in the shop and spent over 2 thousand dollars in it this past month, I have all the receipts from the recent times it was in the shop. Within the last two weeks it has been dyno tuned, hondata s100 installed, new clutch and slave cylinders, new slim radiator, brand new precision sc34 t3/t4 turbo installation completed, driver's side cv axle replaced, brand new yellow top optima installed (3 year warranty) plus a few more things which i have the receipts to from the LAST TWO WEEKS... these things are recently done.. I had the engine checked out and the compression was good across the board and the pan was dropped on it and checked out as well... the engine is in sound condition.. The body kit on the car doesnt fit well but it looks good on the car and with a few touch ups will be fine... there is a small dent and long scratch on the drivers side but the body of the car is in sound condition... The interior is stock and in good condition... no rips in the seats... power locks, windows and sunroof work perfectly... the car has a painted carbon fiber hood which needs to be recleared but looks ok... has Greddy exhaust that isnt loud at all.. I have tons of pictures of this car inside and out including inside the engine and will answer any questions you have... I don't want a lot for this car and I am open to ANY deals you may want to offer... I am open to trades too but like i said i wont give the car away because with the transmission working, the car is worth 10-14 thousand dollars... I dont know exactly whats wrong with the transmission it just quit working all together while i was driving on th interstate, never had any problems out of it before ever.9(UPDATE 5-11-2010 been checking around and I think the transmission is fine, but the differential is broken).. it could be something simple or major but i honestly dont feel like spending any more money on this car esp without a job so i'll consider any decent offers...
