1999 SUZUKI KATANA GSX 600 ONLY 17K LOOKS: Bike is nearly flawless, has been repainted its original factory Red color, brand new shine. The bike was laid down one time on the right side which only scuffed the fairings and broke the blinker. Therefore the fairing was removed, smoothed over the rash, and then the entire bike was repainted using factory color code matched paint, after that of course it was clearcoated. The bike shines like its right off the showroom floor, No broken or cracked fairings, CUSTOM silver swoosh graphics have been installed. It has black windscreen, custom blinkers, and an aftermarket black gas cap. My favorite thing which stands out the most has to be the polished rims, both front and back rims have been repainted black centers and polished lips. The original rims where the plain silver so they where repainted black and then we stripped the lips and polished a number of times with aluminum polish. The rims look AMAZING and blind you in the sun. The rear swingarm has also been repainted black to match the rest of the original black frame and also the wheels. Another favorite also is that its sporting a custom M4 shorty exhaust that has been polished, looks great and sounds amazing. POWER: The bike is very quick, I gurantee it is as fast as any other 600 out there. This bike has all the key components for good solid power. Brand new front tire, nearly brand new back tire. Brand new VORTEX chain and sprocket kit under a month old, still has the new grease on the gold chain. Brand new battery, new plugs, recent oil change, I only run premium gas in it, and the M4 shorty exhaust brings out more power along with awesome sound. Between the tires, chain, and exhaust this bike rides out very strong and safe. All I can say is that you are looking at an EXTREMELY clean and smooth, responsive bike. The bike has been well maintained, everything is current and up to date, it has zero mechanical issues, cranks up everytime. I want to be completely honest so there are no surprises, the only ONE issue it has right now is the front right fork seal is leaking a little bit of oil, im sure everyone has heard of this and knows you can put a easy patch on it which i have, a small piece of cloth and a ziptie. It only happened a few weeks ago but i ride it almost everyday and its perfectly fine. Eventually you will just have to buy a fork seal kit, there about $30 on ebay, trust me ive already looked. Im telling you this is an all around CREAM PUFF, whether you’ve been riding along time or want a first bike, this baby will not let you down. Must come see in person to really appreciate how clean and shiny it really is, hear the awesome sound, and of course feel how smooth it is on the road, I can promise you will not be disappointed. You will need absolutely NOTHING for this bike for a long time, just put gas in and go, maybe check your tire pressure once in a while.
