I am selling this 1981 Honda CX500C Custom for my father as a no reserve auction. He has had this low mileage bike for a few years now. When he got the bike it had been parked for some time and did not run. He spent quite some time going through the bike and making it road worthy again. He rebuilt the carbs and re-jetted them to match the aftermarkte 2-into-1 exhaust as well as to adjust it to run properly on 10% blended fuel. He reconditioned the brakes and they now work great. He put a new seat cover on the bike, put a new rear tire on, front tire is not new but still has tread. He also replaced the fork seals, tachometer cable, speedometer cable, clutch cable, and the clucth cover seal. He repainted the side covers and added the rear trunk. The bike has a Vetter fairing and nice hard side luggage. The engine runs nice and quiet and uses no oil. The cam chain is also quiet indicating no tensioner issues. The bike runs and rides great and just needs someone to enjoy it. The only reason he is selling the bike is because he has more bikes than he can ride and just doesn't need this one any longer.
