1968 Dodge Charger (stock car clone) Ready for you cage and color's This car is street legal, working lights, blinker, horn. The headlight covers have to be opened by hand. This car is a '68 Charger body dropped over a 1986 Old's chassis front to rear...There is no Interior I have 2 racing bucket's that go with the car so you can mount your way after you put a cage in it. There are no side window's but they are included so you can make Lexon window's for it.. There are no longer window chanel's' ... I used part of the dash from the old's for the stearing wheel, speedo, wiper, radio, even the gas gauge work's. The rear quarter's have been chopped and tack stich welded just like they would have done in the 'ol day's. To make a repair a scrape or dent. The wheel well opening's have been opened up to make room for a 6 in channel over the frame and the biger tires.. The trunk area need's finished up. The motor is old's 305 the transmission is a 4speed automatic, the rear is GM.. I think the tranmission is the one that can accept old, caddie, pontiac, and chevy engine not sure?? I have the origial flip lid gas cap. The front of the hood is 27 inches off of the ground. The top of the roof is 51 inches of the ground.... very low!! The car was a total blast to drive...People loved it . Wish I could have painted and letered It.. I have 10 to many cars.. this car has a very very low reserve.. I would not Advise any one to try to put this car back to stock ... I would not Advise any one to try to make this a Duke's of Hazzard car.... The car does have ding's and wavy on the body.... NOW THE BAD NEWS -----THE MOTOR LET LOOSE 3 WEEK'S AGO...it start's and run's and then quit's..(head Gasket) I would just find another and put it in.
