A $500 Paypal deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction closing and the balance within 7 days. I will work with the winner to ship (anywhere in the world) or pick up the car. I can deliver it to a truck or marine (Port of Metro Vancouver) shipper or even to the USA border for you to pick up if you live in the Northwest and don't want to, or cannot, enter Canada. I can pick you up from either YVR or YXX international airports with the Benz and see you on your way. Any of this is at no extra cost (you pay shipping charges, of course). I want to make your car-buying experience as stress free as possible. This 208,000 mile Mercedes Benz 560 SEL has spent its entire life in the Vancouver, BC area. I got it from my friend's family, who has owned it since it was new. It has been consistently driven, maintained, and parked indoors for this whole time. Anything that I haven't mentioned or photographed is in good shape. If you ask, I will email you the original high-resolution pictures. There is virtually no rust on it; the only rust spots are shown in the pictures. There are a few dings in the body and two interior flaws; these are all clearly photographed. The paint is very deep and shiny: a testament to Teutonic workmanship. Some of the pictures were taken after a rain so the paint may look dirty but, rest assured, it is just dirt: no stains or peeling clearcoat. The interior is beautiful black leather with a white cloth headliner. It is mechanically in mint condition, everything in the drivetrain and suspension work perfectly. You could drive it from Vancouver to New York City if you wanted to. The transmission was replaced last September, as was the power steering box. (There are a load of receipts and maintenance records for this thing. It is probably the best maintained 560 SEL in this area of Canada.) The engine in these German beasts will easily go half-a-million kilometers (300,000 mi). The engine idles smooth, doesn't surge, doesn't leak or burn oil and passed its recent emissions test with readings way below average (see the picture). Except for the electric radio aerial (stuck in the up position) and the air conditioning, all the accessories work perfect. Climate control (except A/C), front and rear power heated seats, driver and passenger 2-position memory seats, power sun/moonroof, two-tone horn, even the power-adjustable headrests and side mirror. Specifications that Benz enthusiasts will already know: 5.6 liter gasoline V8, 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, fully independent suspension, 160 mph top speed, 14 mpg combined city and highway.
