This neat little truck is my daily driver that was purchased by me in March of 2000 and was a rebuilder as most of what I sell on ebay is today. It was a light hit in the front and required a hood, rt. fender, radiator support and grille. It was so minor that I used the original front bumper so that would indicate no frame or suspension damage. Either way it was a great running and driving truck that let me put a ton of miles on with no complaints, and it still is a good old truck. You can see I just put new exhaust on for the future.
The engine still runs good but last summer I noticed steam out of the tail pipe and assumed it was a head gasket so I backed the radiator cap back to the first notch added a little anti-freeze and thought I would drive it until it was dead but nothing happened and I am still driving it everday. I add a little water every so often but the truck has lost no power and stopped the steam out the tail pipe? Just so ya know this is how you will buy the truck! How long it will go is a hard guess but so far it is running like it always has and will still spin the rear tires if needed? My thoughts are it would be best just to drive it and put a crate motor in and get another good 10 years out as I have done because the drivability of the rest of the truck is excellent.
The truck is comfortable with the factory bucket seat that were part of the "SPORT" package that came with the truck. The truck has never been smoked in and the original ash tray & cig. lighter never used. The air is ice cold and the truck will sit and idle today with the air on and not overheat.
The title is not a salvage title it was but when I rebuilt the truck I had it inspected and it will have a "Missouri Prior Salvage title" as seen in the picture. This means you just go to your DMV and register as you would with any other title.
