Up for auction is a 2004 Chrysler Sebring GTC Convertible with only 94k miles. It’s equipped with a 2.7 6cyl and a automatic transmission. It has a white exterior with a charcoal cloth interior. It is loaded with standard options such as power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power seat, power convertible top, tilt, cruise, ac, cd player, alloy wheels, etc. We purchased this Chrysler from an insurance company and as you can see from the many photos we’ve included it has some minor collision damage. It will be sold with a NY 907A SALVAGE CERTIFICATE. It is rebuildable in NY state and most other states as well but please check with your states rules and regulations before bidding if unsure. It starts, runs, and lot drives. The engine sounds good as it should. As you can see it has some minor damage to the front end. It will need, but not limited to, replacement of hood, repair/replacement of right front fender, replacement of right mirror, replacement of right headlight, repair/replacement of front bumper reinforcement, replacement of front bumper absorber, repair/replacement of right headlight bucket, replacement of upper tie bar, replacement of plastic power steering reservoir, and replacement of front bumper cover and grille. The right side splash shield is good as pictured. The cooling is also good.The lower frame rails APPEAR straight, NO suspension damage, NO airbags deployed, NO glass damage, and NO damage to the drivetrain. The rest of the body that was not affected by the damage is in good shape for the year. It has normal wear and tear do to the age but it is free of any major dents and scratches. It would look great with a quick polish. The paint is starting to chip on the rockers on both sides as you can see in the pictures and could be touched up when the front end is being painted. The convertible top appears to be in great shape with the exception some minor wear on the drivers side as pictured. The top goes up and down nicely just as it should. All 4 tires appear to have decent tread. As stated earlier it runs and lot drives but due to the plastic power steering reservoir being broken the fluid leaked out and it steers a little hard. The power steering will return to normal once the reservoir is replaced and fluid is added. The check engine light is on and I’m not sure why. The car seems to run fine so probably just a sensor. The interior is in good shape for the year with the exception of some wear and a small hole on the drivers side carpet near the foot rest. There also is a small hole in the drivers side front speaker grille. Like all used cars it may be able to use a light cleaning. Other than that the interior is in nice shape. All options seem to function as they should. This car should be a easy fix for someone and a great opportunity to get into a late model convertible for a fraction of the cost. Most of the parts this car needs are easy to find and can be bought very reasonable. Check Chrysler dealers, www car-part com, and www ebay com for parts. The reserve on this car is set very low.
