Vehicle Detail
1972 Chevy K10 3 Door Suburban 4 Wheel Drive Last & best Year of the 3 door Suburbans This Suburban has had at least 3 restorations during its life. The last was six years ago when new quarter panels, rockers, and floor braces were used to replace rusted sections. All of the rusted sections were cut out and new parts were glued and welded in to place. Minimal body putty was used and the entire rig was repainted in factory paint and color. Professionally rebuilt 350 with less than 20,000 miles. Automatic transmission rebuilt approximately 70,000 miles Front disc brakes 16” wheels with like new tires and matching spare Original springs were replaced with heavy duty rear springs including an overload spring. AM/FM/CD with XM cradle and 6x9 box speakers for use outside CB radio with whip antenna Custom roof rack 40 gallon fuel tank Custom rear skid plate with receiver hitch Dual batteries with isolator, 1 new starting battery, 1 year old deep cycle Clean interior with new carpet, dash and arm rests. Dual exhaust Custom rear wood storage box This Burb has been owned by a group of friends for the last 15 years. Great vehicle for epic excursions, bike trips, whitewater rafting etc. Spent 6 weeks touring Mexico and ended up in Belize with never a problem. Runs great, everything works as it should. It has sat for the last 2 years in Moab with occasional short trips to town of 5 miles or less. We hate to get rid of it but would rather someone else get to use and enjoy it like we have. There are a few glitches as you would expect with a 38 year old vehicle. There are rust bubbles coming back through on the tailgate gate and rear hatch. A couple of the replacement quarter panels have developed cracks.6” long or so where they join the original panels. Aftermarket front sway bar has a broken link connector on one side. The headliner is in great shape but will not go with the Burb. A departed friend drew a mural on it during our Mexico adventure and we plan to keep it in her memory. We will adjust the price accordingly to account for the cost of a replacement headliner. We have been involved with various years of 3 door Burbs for a while and this is one of the best around. Not a show truck but an everyday rig you can take anywhere. Plenty of pictures, we can e-mail if interested. Any questions call Kevin at 801-725-3627 or Brad at 801-510-6367
