This is a "Cream Puff" of a truck. It is a plain Jane 02 Ford Ranger with the "XLT" package and the popular 2.3L gas saver 4-Cyl. engine. The engine sounds great and is full of clean oil that looks to have just been recently serviced. The tranny is automatic with overdrive & 2-wd. for even better economy. The damage is front end and as you can see the front end got swayed over to the left and damaged the radiator tank I would guess as you can see the leak in the pic. The a/c condensor is fine and blows cold air. This will make it necessary to trailer or tow dolly home. You can do a short road test as I did to see that it will drive down the road with no problems. The damage to the frame will require a frame rack and you can see the bed moved also. No extra charge for the super ugly fiberglass topper. It came with the truck and I sell them the way I get them.
The overall truck is extra clean with no rust or hail dings and all the glass is good
A Carfax indicated a good history and a 2-Owner truck that was purchased 05/22/03 by the previous owner and I have to think that they did not want to get rid of the truck because it looks like they just filled the gas tank and cleaned the truck before the damage?
The interior is like new and will look like the pics or better. The "XLT" package offers an upgrade in the interior with reclining bucket seats, carpeting, center arm rest and cd player. It was owned by a non-smoker and the a/c blows cold.
The Ford ranger is comparable to the Chevrolet S-10 and both are extremly popular plus command a high retail and hard to find in extra clean condition with a perfect running engine & good transmission.
